... I don't know if we understand, don't know if I understand myself how much time we have to mend things we have marred on Earth. There will soon be no food, but we want more cars... we don't know where the fuel for all these zillion cars are going to come from. We want new houses (I just got one myself), new computers, we want to fly all the time... we only want to consume more and more...
It scares me...
Where will it all come from? ...the resources to fulfill all our desires? And above these desires are someone else's NEED for food, or clothing or land or water... which is fast being taken away for our growing wants...
Its no more a doomdsday scenario, it is actually happening here and now... What is this false reality we have built for ourselves? Like we haven't woken up fully to the truth and want desperately to sleep some more...
The fight for water, land, herbs, air, space has already begun and we can only do one thing - WANT LESS... 'Simple living, high thinking' was an old adage my father would teach. Its the NEED now... Or else we will be indirect accomplices in the massacre of all life on this planet. Ignorance is not a virtue. We must wake up to the truth soon...
